a-PRF and i-PRF, the modern PRP approach — faster healing with biological materials

Didenta Implantology ArtPRF (platelet rich fibrin) is a combination of platelets and fibrin that stimulates bone and gum healing and is obtained from blood drawn from the patient after centrifuging it with a special device.

a-PRF comes in the form of membranes or plugs, which are used in:

– surgical interventions for placing dental implants with bone grafts and sinus lifting,

– periodontal surgery interventions,

– treatment of gingival recessions,

– post-extraction.

The i-PRF concentrate is mixed with bone reconstruction materials to turn bone granules into "sticky bone", thus facilitating easy application of the biological material and speeding up osseointegration.

It is also indicated for patients with

– periodontal disease,

– joint disorders,

– osteoarthritis,

– nerve lesions,

– tendinitis,

– facial aesthetics treatments.

The method is revolutionary and has multiple advantages:

– only the patient's blood is used to obtain the preparations,

– they halve or even eliminate the amount of synthetic or autologous bone needed for the intervention,

– as well as the need for collagen membranes,

– they allow bone formation and safe placement of dental implants in patients with bone deficit,

– bone restoration after extractions,

– elimination of gingival recessions by restoring bone and stopping the progression of periodontal disease,

– elimination of mucosal defects,

– they help reduce post-operative pain, speed healing of bone and gum tissues, and improve the long-term stability of dental surgery results,

– the costs of surgical interventions are reduced.
