The All on four / all on six techniques allow performing prosthetic rehabilitations on few implants( 4 at mandible, 6 at maxilla), with very good prognosis, without bone augmentation or long healing time.
Used in case of total edentation (there are no more teeth or they need to be extracted – patients with advanced stages of periodontitis), which bone resorbtions, all on 4 / all on 6 technique allows insertion of 4, respectively 6 implants. The advantages are numerous: the implants are placed in one session in a particular position; major bone reconstruction and long healing time can be avoided; immediate after placing the implants, a temporary prosthetic bridge can be performed (“Teeth in one day”); a smaller number of implants will lower the final costs; the success rate is very good.
